The Trauma Transformation Initiative (TTI) supports survivors of child sexual abuse to increase access to meaningful support by enhancing their ability to recognise the impact of child sexual abuse and improve their mental health, well-being and relationships. The TTI takes a trauma informed, psycho-educational approach that introduces body based and expressive therapies known to enhance healing and recovery for survivors of child sexual abuse, address complex trauma and improve mental health and well-being.

The TTI also seeks to raise awareness in the general community about childhood trauma and its impact among educators, human service and health professionals so that that they are well informed and able to identify indicators and respond appropriately to disclosures.

An After hours GP service is provided to Turner River Rehabilitation Centre to enable primary healthcare services to the residents.

WA Primary Health Alliance co-funds mental health nurses to provide clinical care co-ordination, structured psychological treatment and low intensity interventions for the UWA population (24,000) with severe and complex and/or high risk mental illness to keep them well in the community and reduce potentially preventable hospitalisations.

This activity provides treatment and support services to people and/or their families who have alcohol and substance use issues in the Wheatbelt to reduce the impact on individuals, families and communities.
