The Western Desert Social and Emotional Well being (SEWB) and Suicide Prevention Service provides a holistic approach to integrating mental, social, physical and spiritual aspects of health for Aboriginal people in Newman and Western Desert Communities. The activity focuses on building capacity within the mental health workforce to improve early intervention, suicide prevention, community support and SEWB services.

South West Chronic Conditions Strategy
This activity provides a strategic approach to the prevention and management of chronic conditions in the South West through the implementation and coordination of evidenced based and person centered strategies which increase self management and minimise preventable hospitalisation.
The program provides counselling to improve access to drug and alcohol treatment and rehabilitation services to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) communities in the Wiluna and surrounding areas. The focus is on women and families with co-occurring conditions of mental illness and substance use. It provides the community with a holistic social and culturally appropriate service including confidential counselling, case management, crisis intervention, solution focused brief intervention and psychoeducation. It also provides community activities to promote healthy lifestyle, improved health literacy and group activities to promote connection to country, community and family.

The Turner Rehabilitation Centre Program
A Community Aboriginal Liaison and Advocacy roll that: facilitates access to rehabilitation for people in remote communities, streamlines intake process, provides safe reentry to the community post rehabilitation; and coordinates post rehab care.
TRACKS – Youth Outreach and Wellbeing Program provides a service which is holistic, person centred and recovery focused for young people ages 12-25 years with, or at risk of severe mental illness in the catchment area of the Central Great Southern. The community based service engages young people in an environment which resonates with the young person and is underpinned by evidence based psychological interventions which utilises a comprehensive assessment and integrated service approach.
