Effective Yarning for Healthy Weight Management Care

Please join us for the 6th webinar in the Healthy Weight Webinar Masterclass Series. In this masterclass, we have guest speaker Tania Woods from Mudlarks Indigenous Support Coordination.

Tania has great insights into Aboriginal health and wellbeing, particularly in regard to healthy weight management. 

 She will be discussing the challenges in engaging Aboriginal people, and protocols and practices for successful engagement with Aboriginal patients in concern to their weight, and empowering them to make their own decisions in health, wellbeing and diet. She will also discuss how poor access and equity of quality food for Aboriginal people of the past has impacted their weight, diet attitudes, and literacy today.
