This event will address wound hygiene and provide a mythbusting ‘Fact or Fiction’ panel discussion –- applying the evidence of wound cleansing and the different methods used in various wound care settings.  Topics include:

  • Methods of wound hygiene
  • Evidence of cleansing
  • ‘Fact or fiction’ mythbusting panel

 

Expert presenters include:

  • Professor Keryln Carville, Primary Health & Community, Silver Chain
  • Panel discussion with Wound Australia’s WA committee from a variety of healthcare settings, including community, acute care & education
