Caring for children with sickle cell - education and collaboration forum

The Perth Children’s Hospital Haematology service invites GPs to attend their first sickle cell disease education and collaboration forum – aiming to bring patients, their families/carers and our professional colleagues together to provide the best care for children living with this disease.

The first session is for patients and their family/carers and will aim to better understand the patient experience and welcome input through guided discussions.

The second session is for patients, families/carers and health professionals. In this session, the Perth Children’s Hospital specialist team will give key information on providing the best care for children living with Sickle Cell Disease.
